Yes, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted.  Shana has reminded me of this :)

I’m done with PT from my knee surgery, and I’ve been busy getting back into the swing of things with the FD.  So far so good with the knee too.

Getting back into the swing of things also means renewing my pursuit of my "medic" or EMT-Intermediate certification.  Actually, I took the written portion of the test last night and found out this morning that I…passed.  I passed.  I  passed the written on the first try.  Everyone had hyped this test up so much as being so incredibly difficult that I was not expecting to pass on the first try at all.  It’s not just a straight percentage to pass.  You have to have an overall percentage above 90%, with at least 80% correct in each area.   I’m half way there.  The next and final portion is the practical exam which is comprised of 11 testing stations where you and your skills/treatments are evaluated.  Yikes.
